Alocasia’s directors, Mick Barber and Jake Gowans, share an extensive history of delivering quality solutions to their clients from as early as January 2000. Alocasia Consulting the vehicle by which they deliver solutions today, to their Brisbane based clientele, was not incorporated until the 20th July 2007 upon their return to Australia from United Kingdom where they formulated the business plan.

Alocasia’s Directors

Mick Barber (BSc., Grad. Dip. Info. Tech., Grad. Cert. Bus. Admin., MAcct.) Mick has over 15 years experience in the IT industry with the majority of those dedicated to consulting across almost all industry sectors. His experience, skills and qualifications   (Science, IT, Business and Accounting) have allowed him to perform a large number of rolls from Project Management, Software Development, Systems Administration and Business  Analysis.

Jake Gowans (Bachelor Info. Tech.) Jake Gowans has over 10 years experience in IT Support, Software Implementation, and Database Development. His solid background in business systems and love for all things technical has made him a solid enabler of cutting edge technology in the today’s changing dynamic business environment.
